Verbatim Claim Services Adds New Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Verbatim Claim Services announced today the addition of Kevin Mikalsen to the executive staff as the vice president of sales and marketing.

Oviedo, Florida - August 22, 2003 Verbatim Claim Services, Inc. (VCS) today announced the addition of Kevin Mikalsen to the management team as vice president of sales and marketing, responsible for the branding, marketing activities and sales management. The addition of Kevin Mikalsen brings over ten years of marketing and sales experience with an emphasis on product marketing of software technology.

Mikalsen comes to VCS from VERITAS Software® where he was a Senior Product Marketing Manager - responsible for product branding, in/out-bound marketing and development of Backup Exec™ - a $250 million storage management software product line for Windows operating systems. Mikalsen holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on marketing from the University of Central Florida.
